At minimum, upload the main manuscript file. Additional files are optional but recommended (figures, tables, cover letter, supplementary material).

Submission Checklist & Policies
  • Scope fit. Confirm that your manuscript aligns with the journal scope (smart cities, infrastructure, digital twins, AI, construction, economics and project management for the built environment).

  • Abstract & keywords. Provide a clear abstract (150–300 words) and 3–8 relevant keywords for indexing and discoverability. :contentReference[oaicite:1]{index=1}
  • References. Use a consistent scholarly citation style (IEEE or APA) and include all essential elements (authors, title, source, year, volume/issue, pages, DOI where available). :contentReference[oaicite:2]{index=2}
  • Authorship & ethics. Ensure all authors meet authorship criteria, approve the final version, and that ethical approvals and disclosures are documented. :contentReference[oaicite:3]{index=3}
  • Originality. The manuscript must not be under review in another journal, and plagiarism (including self-plagiarism) is not tolerated.
  • Data & code. Where possible, provide links to underlying datasets or code repositories to support transparency and reproducibility.
