Smart World is an international peer-reviewed, open access online journal.
Smart World provides a high-profile, leading-edge forum for the publication of papers addressing the variety of theoretical, methodological, epistemological, empirical and practical issues reflected in the multidisciplinary field of smart world in which there are rich and ubiquitous smart things covering objects, systems, spaces, environments, organizations, etc.
The smart world is set to enhance all existing things with abilities of sensation, communication, computation and intelligence so that many tasks and processes could be simplified, more efficient, and enjoyable. Numerous "smart things" can be endowed with different levels/forms of intelligence and even be connected together for a network level of intelligence with the capability of thinking.
